Introduction of EDCI 335

Hello everyone,

My name is Yiran Han, and I also go by my English name, Frank. I am an international student from China, and this is my final semester of my undergraduate degree at UVic.

I first came to Canada in 2017, when I attended high school in Hamilton, Ontario. Since then, Canada has become a place where I have studied, lived, and grown academically. I am currently majoring in Data Science, and I mainly work with R and Python in my coursework.

Outside of my technical studies, I have a strong interest in music, visual arts, and literature. These creative interests are important to me, as they help balance the analytical side of my academic work and shape how I think about learning and communication.

As this is my final term, I am hoping to finish my undergraduate studies on a strong note. I am looking forward to learning more about learning design, especially how technology can support meaningful and engaging learning experiences.
